Spreading Joy and Opportunity: Rubber Donation in Nigeria
By Charles Shen
We're thrilled to share the heartwarming success of our recent donation drive in Nigeria! On January 13, 2025, our dedicated ambassador, Coach Kazeem Makanjuola, traveled to Nigeria with a collection of used table tennis rubbers generously donated by our supporters.
Coach Kazeem visited local table tennis club and distributed the rubbers to eager young players. The smiles on their faces said it all – these donations are making a real difference in their ability to play and enjoy the sport they love.
Table tennis is more than just a game; it's a way for kids to develop skills, build friendships, and stay active. In many parts of Africa, access to quality equipment is a significant barrier to participation. By providing these rubbers, we're helping to level the playing field and give these talented kids the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We're incredibly grateful to Coach Kazeem for his dedication to our mission and for personally delivering these donations. We also want to thank everyone who donated rubbers and helped make this possible. Your generosity is making a tangible impact on the lives of young table tennis players in Africa.
Here are some photos from the event:
